Hi, is this thing on?

Yet another iteration of a personal blog, this time starting from scratch.

I was able to resist the urge to build my own blogging platform for probably the 8th time when deciding on creating this blog here.

I think that in and of itself, that’s a major accomplishment. I’m late to the dev blog party but I still think I can bring some value to the community. We’ll see.

What’s all this about?

I’m not devrel. Not even close. I’m going to spin that a little and claim to be ent-rel, or, enterprise relations. It sounds lame, maybe it actually is, but it’s an area where I think there’s a gap to be filled. There’s a lot of focus on technology for devs in the community, and there just isn’t anything practical or meaningful for the enterprise context that comes from the real world. At least, there’s no content that isn’t rife with buzz words and meaningless headlines like “18 Reasons Why You Need Kubernetes” or “9 Reasons Why DevOps Changes Everything”.
